From the Heart at The Little Shop

Hello My Quilty Friends!
What a long three weeks it has been. It feels like a lifetime.
Thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers, the cards and messages, your patience and grace.
The Little Shop Family is healing, and we have heard encouraging words from doctors.
The road to recovery is a long one, but we are looking at the future with optimism.
Many of you placed Little Shop orders last week, and I thank you. I am working on these a little bit at a time.
Also, many of you ordered items through Jenn Links on Jenn’s Favorite Quilty Things these past few weeks. I actually heard from several quilty friends that they have already finished their Christmas shopping, and did so ALL with Jenn Links! Thank you, thank you! These affiliate links allow me to earn a small commission each time you place an order.
I am happy to report to you that Little Shop Lives will return this week! Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday – All at Noon Eastern – on Facebook, Instagram, and The Little Shop App! And Local Pick-Up at Panera returns next week as well on Fri, Oct 11 from 2-4pm.
I am greatly looking forward to seeing you on the lives and the replays, as this is my normal. It will feel really good to be normal for a short time.
And as I work more and more toward that sense of normalcy, the affiliate links – the Jenn Links on Jenn’s Favorite Quilty Things – will continue! I have plans for the upcoming holiday season and beyond. Because, just like you, I also enjoy shopping – and I am truly having fun being your online personal shopper!
Lastly, in addition to thanking all of you for supporting The Little Shop Family during these difficult weeks and months, I’d like to ask one more favor. But this one is not for me.
All of you have been following the Hurricane aftermath in the Asheville, North Carolina area. And many of you know that Angie from 5 Little Monkeys Quilt and Sew is right there in the heart of the destruction. Angie is a Sewposium friend of mine. She has been helping and serving her neighbors and communities ever since the storm lifted, putting her own personal/business needs aside…working to get people the most basic of needs – food, water, shelter, diapers, etc.
If you haven’t already, please consider a donation – large or small – to one of the organizations who are helping the survivors: American Red Cross, United Way of Asheville, World Central Kitchen, or BeLoved Asheville.
Or, you could consider going to fivemonkeyquilts.com and buy yourself a gift card. You can use it later, but it would help Angie’s family now.
Even during the tough times The Little Shop Family has gone through in last few months – also personal and business related – their needs are greater than ours. I have donated. And I ask you to do the same. Every little bit counts.
Thank you, my Quilty Friends. I’ll see you soon.
Much love,
Jenn
P.S. As the road to healing is not a straight road, please continue your grace and patience. Family medical needs will still be top priority. Two steps forward, One step back...
